East Star Airlines Co., Ltd. is composed of Hubei East Star International Travel Service Co., Ltd., Hubei Dongsheng Real Estate Co., Ltd. and Hubei Meijing Tourism Investment Co., Ltd. under East Star Group Co., Ltd. East Star Airlines is the fourth private airline approved by the General Administration of Civil Aviation of China. It is also the first private airline in Central China and Central South China. Mainly engaged in air trunk passenger and cargo transportation business. On March 14, 2009, the Central South Bureau of Civil Aviation invented the telegraph and decided to stop flying East Star Airlines. In August 2009, East Star Airlines was ruled bankrupt. On May 9, 20 1 1, East Star Airlines sued the Civil Aviation Administration for its bankruptcy due to improper grounding decision.
