China is a socialist country. When People's Republic of China (PRC) was founded, the western capitalist countries were also eyeing it, because they were unwilling to let the socialist forces continue to grow. In this case, China, which is closely related to the Soviet Union, adopted a "one-sided" policy and moved closer to the Eastern Group headed by the Soviet Union in diplomacy. During that time, the Soviet Union did help us a lot, but the Sino-Soviet relationship gradually deteriorated because they finally put forward various unreasonable demands in order to control China. It was after this that the normalization of Sino-US relations took place. Generally speaking, these two countries have promoted the development of China's aviation industry to varying degrees.
1950 to 1960 is the honeymoon period of Sino-Soviet relations. Shortly after the founding of China, China and the Soviet Union signed the Sino-Soviet Treaty of Friendship and Mutual Assistance. The Soviet Union began to support and assist China in various fields and sent experts to China for guidance. At that time, the aviation industry was the key support area. At that time, China knew nothing about the development of fighter planes, so the Soviet Union taught us to train professionals from basic parts to design drawings. With the help of the Soviet Union, China's aviation industry has developed rapidly. By studying Soviet fighters, we have successfully developed our own fighters, with more and more models, and initially established a relatively complete aviation industry system.
From 1980, it entered the honeymoon period between China and the United States. During this period, many China delegations were invited to visit the United States. Everyone was shocked by the prosperity of the United States and the advanced equipment of the US military. At the same time, they are envious and determined to build the motherland. On the one hand, the United States sold us many fighter planes with good performance at low prices, which exposed us to advanced western technologies, on the other hand, it also helped China to further optimize its aviation industry system. Under the guidance of the United States, the standard 1553B was established for the first time, and the aviation industry in China began to move towards standardization.
The influence of the United States and the Soviet Union on China's aviation industry and even the whole industrial system can be summarized in one sentence, that is, the Soviet Union taught us industrialization and the United States taught us standardization. From this point of view, regardless of the result and purpose, these help are real, and we should express our gratitude.
