Yitong town has developed transportation. Chang Ying Expressway (Changchun to Yingchengzi), Changliao Expressway (Changchun to Liaoyuan), Changdong Expressway (Changchun to Dongfeng), Changbai Expressway (Changchun to Baishan), Jiukai Expressway (Jiutai to Kaiyuan) and other provincial expressways all pass through, and Yitong Town has become the transportation hub of counties and cities in southern and eastern Jilin Province to Changchun. There are more than 200 air routes in the town, connecting the towns in the county and reaching the surrounding cities and counties outside, and there are long-distance passenger buses to Shenyang, Haicheng and Harbin in Liaoning. There are nearly ten thousand vehicles of all sizes in the town. The total mileage of rural cement roads is more than 80 kilometers, and the road network density is high. There are two highway passenger stations in the town, and eight national secondary highways, such as Chang Ying Expressway, Yitong to Gongzhuling and Yitong to Fan Jiatun, are radial, with relatively developed traffic.
