A few days ago, the Development and Reform Commission of Zhejiang Province approved the preliminary design of the new Ningbo-Zhoushan railway, which will not only end the history of Zhoushan's impassable railway, but also bring Zhoushan closer to the "high-speed rail era". Zhejiang 1 1 Cities will realize "high-speed rail between cities".
Ningbo-Zhoushan Ningbo Railway starts from Ningbo East Station, the hub of Ningbo, passes through Yinzhou District and Beilun District of Ningbo, Jintang Island, Cizi Island and Fuchi Island of Zhoushan, and ends in Bai Quan Town, Dinghai District, Zhoushan City.
The design speed of Yongzhou Railway is 250km/h, and the main line is 76.4km long, of which the newly-built line is 70. 1 km and the existing line is 6.3km long.
There are 7 stations on the whole line, including 4 new stations in Beilun West, Jintang, Ma 'ao and Zhoushan, and the existing stations in Ningbo East and Qiu 'ai are reconstructed.
The total investment of the project is 26.989 billion yuan, and the planned construction period is 6 years.

Zhoushan is an island city. How to make high-speed trains shuttle between the island and the mainland has become the key to the railway construction from Ningbo to Zhoushan.
As the main project adopts the combination of bridge and tunnel, Yongzhou Railway is also known as the "railway version of Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge", which passes through Jintang Waterway, Xihoumen Waterway, Taoyaomen Waterway and Fuchimen Waterway in turn.
According to the plan, the railway will build Jintang submarine tunnel under Jintang waterway between Beilun and Zhoushan in Ningbo for trains to travel across the sea. The total length of the tunnel is 16. 18km, with one end starting from the west side of Qingzhi Chemical Terminal in Beilun, Ningbo and the other end reaching Jintang Island in Zhoushan.
Among them, the middle section of the tunnel is 8.3km long, the maximum buried depth is 78m, and the diameter is14m.
Jintang subsea tunnel is constructed by two shield tunneling and midway docking. The total length of the tunnels on both sides is nearly 2000 meters longer than that of the first high-speed rail submarine tunnel in China-the Shiziyang Tunnel in Guangzhou-Shenzhen-Hong Kong. The long-distance docking of shield tunnel in the sea requires higher docking accuracy and more complicated technology.
When the tunnel is completed, it will become the longest undersea high-speed rail tunnel in the world.
The railway crossing Xihoumen Waterway, Taoyaomen Waterway and Fuchimen Waterway will adopt the dual-purpose bridge scheme.
Xihoumen Highway-Railway Bridge, with a main span of1488m, will become the largest highway-railway bridge in the world. The main span of the bridge is 396 meters longer than that of the Shanghai-Suzhou Yangtze River Highway-Railway Bridge, which was opened to traffic in July this year.
The difficulties of Jintang Cross-Harbour Tunnel and Xihoumen Highway-Railway Bridge are world-class.
After the completion of the Ningbo-Zhoushan Railway, if the train operation is calculated according to the mode of large station direct, it will take about half an hour from Ningbo East Station to Zhoushan Station, and hangzhou east railway station will stop at Ningbo East Station to Zhoushan Station for about 1 hour.
