Does the name change of the company affect the original contract?

Legal analysis: the company's name change will not affect the original contract. The original contract has the capacity for civil conduct at the time of signing, and the signing of the contract is the true intention of both parties and does not violate the relevant provisions. After the company is renamed, the original contract is still valid.

Legal basis: Civil Code of People's Republic of China (PRC).

Article 143 A civil juristic act that meets the following conditions is valid: (1) The actor has corresponding capacity for civil conduct; (2) the meaning is true; (three) does not violate the mandatory provisions of laws and administrative regulations, and does not violate public order and good customs.
