The deposit is mainly composed of Chaoyangshan ore block and Jubaoshan ore block. The exposed strata in the mining area are Triassic Zhou Chong Village Formation, HuangMa Qing Formation, Fanjiatang Formation and Jurassic Xiangshan Formation, and the sag is covered by Quaternary. Fault structures are developed, mainly east-west reverse faults, which are ore-controlling and rock-storing structures; The NW-trending fault is a ore-breaking structure. Diorite and diorite porphyrite intrude along nearly east-west faults and appear as bedrock and tongue. The wall rock alteration is mainly chloritization, sericitization, silicification and kaolin, which is closely related to mineralization. Ore bodies mainly occur in the contact zone of near east-west reverse faults and intrusive rocks controlled by them, and secondly in surrounding rock strata. There are 46 ore bodies in the two proved ore blocks, including 8 main ore bodies, which are layered and quasi-layered, strike nearly east-west, and tilt to the south or southeast. The buried depth of the ore body is 25-476m, the strike length is14-525.4m, the thickness is 0.99-28.438+0m, and the extension depth is 7-259.6m. The mineral composition is mainly pyrite. The ore is authigenic, semi-authigenic crystal structure and broken block structure. Dense massive and scattered veinlets and breccia structures. The average sulfur content of ore is 10.55%-43.4%. The genetic type of the deposit belongs to the medium-low temperature hydrothermal filling metasomatic deposit.
From 65438 to 0955, Wang Dezi and Liu Yingjun, teachers of Geology Department of Nanjing University, led students to practice teaching in this area, and investigated the pyrite mine in chao yang shan, which was considered as a pyrite deposit. In his book Geology and Regional Mineralization in the Lower Yangtze River, Professor Zhang Zuhuan confirmed that this area is a mesothermal hydrothermal metasomatic pyrite deposit. In the same year, the Seventh Geophysical Exploration Team of the Geological Bureau of the Ministry of Heavy Industry carried out1∶ 50,000 magnetic survey and1∶ 50,000 natural current survey in this area, among which the natural current measurement effect was good, and the Geophysical Exploration Work Report for the Eastern Suburb of Nanjing was written.
1956, in order to meet Nanjing's demand for pyrite, Nanjing quarry explored while mining in chao yang shan, and found lead-zinc deposits in the exploratory trench, which were later inspected by Nanjing Geological Team as lead-zinc deposits.
During the period of 1957, Nanjing geological team exposed the mountain engineering on the surface, drilled several holes, got a preliminary understanding of the deep part of the deposit, and determined it as pyrite deposit. March 1958 was handed over to Nanjing Geological Team for further exploration. In chao yang shan, drilling, drift, exploratory trench and shallow well were used for exploration, and the geological characteristics and variation law of the deposit, as well as the genesis and magmatic activity of the deposit were preliminarily found out. In June, 1958, the geological exploration report of Chaoyang Dongshan pyrite mine in Sancha Road, Nanjing was submitted. * * * The submitted pyrite reserves are 86,000 tons. 1962 in may, the technical Committee of Jiangsu geological bureau approved the available reserves of pyrite of 70,000 tons and the geological reserves of limonite of150,000 tons.
196310-10 The third team of geophysical exploration team of Jiangsu Metallurgical Geological Exploration Corps conducted a general survey and prospecting in chao yang shan area. It is considered that the surface limonite is oxidized by pyrite, and the deep primary pyrite occurs in the contact zone, mainly in convex mirror shape, followed by vein or veinlet disseminated shape, belonging to medium-low temperature. 1February, 1964, a brief report on the results of geophysical and geochemical exploration in Chaoyangdong survey area at Nanjing intersection was submitted.
During the period of 1970- 1974, Jiangsu Metallurgical Bayi No.10 Team drilled three holes in the south slope of Jubaoshan, and pyrite deposits were found in two of them.
During the period of 1977- 1983, the third team of regional geological survey brigade of Jiangsu Geological Bureau carried out the regional geological survey in Wanning Town at 1∶5, and collected, sorted out and analyzed the previous data in this area comprehensively. Chalukou pyrite mine is facing a closure crisis due to insufficient ore reserves. 1in March, 979, Jiang Zhixiang was appointed by Nanjing pyrite mine, and made a request to the Third Team of District Dispatching Brigade to help make a long-term evaluation of the Chalukou pyrite mine. In April of the same year, Liu Boling and Qian Ming Kuan, etc. The third team of the regional investigation team conducted a field survey of the Chalukou pyrite mine, and got a preliminary understanding of the geological characteristics of the deposit and the enrichment law of pyrite mine. With the strong support and cooperation of the first geological team, a geological sketch of1:100000 was made, and some important stratigraphic contact relations were exposed during exploration, thus gaining a new understanding of the ore-controlling structure and the prospect of the mining area. The summary of 65,438+0 ∶ 65,438+0,000 geological survey in the fork road area, the preliminary summary of geological geophysical data in the Zijinshan area, the geological characteristics and prospecting direction of the fork road pyrite deposit, and the regional geological survey report of 65,438+0 ∶ 5 in Wanning Town Mountain range were submitted, which provided an important basis for the general survey and exploration in this area.
In August, 1978 Jiangsu Geological Exploration Brigade of Geological Exploration Company of the Ministry of Chemical Industry conducted a general survey and exploration of pyrite in Sancha Road area according to the instructions of the Ministry of Chemical Industry of Jiangsu Province. In May, 198 1 compiled and submitted the preliminary exploration geological report of Chaoyangshan ore section. 10, Jiangsu Provincial Petrochemical Department cooperated with Geological Exploration Company of the Ministry of Chemical Industry. Following 1982, 1985 submitted the preliminary exploration geological report (line 0- 13) of Chaoyangshan mine section of Chalukou pyrite mine in Nanjing, Jiangsu Province. The pyrite reserves were 2.67 million tons, of which the available ore reserves were 13. 1March, 1987, upon examination by the Geological Exploration Company of the Ministry of Chemical Industry, the ore reserves were approved to be 6.5438+0.39 million tons, of which the available reserves were 6.5438+0.28 million tons. While exploring the Chaoyangshan ore block, the Jubaoshan ore block was also surveyed at 1980 as the replacement mine of Chaoyangshan ore block. In September, 1983- 1987 completed the preliminary exploration task, and 60 boreholes were drilled, with footage of 13498m. 1988 In May, the preliminary exploration geological report of Jubaoshan ore section in Chalukou sulfur mining area, Nanjing, Jiangsu Province was submitted, and the proven ore reserves were 2.23 million tons.
Nanjing pyrite mine has been mined underground in Chaoyangshan ore section since 1972, with an annual output of 20,000 tons. By 1985, * * 244,300 tons of ore have been mined. Due to the influence of mining on the subgrade of Shanghai-Nanjing railway, mining has been stopped.
