The film is based on Yang Liusong's real experience and his novel "The Open Space in the North", which tells the story of Lao Yang who lost herself in the city and a paraplegic but optimistic female photographer. It took them 77 days to get out of Qiangtang no man's land together.

Yang (Zhao Hantang) lost himself in life, so he decided to venture into the snowy plateau alone and complete the adventure in the fantasy no man's land that the world could not complete. Before he left, Yang saw the blue sky in Tibet. Blue sky is a stubborn and brave girl. She once fell down while filming the starry sky in Gangrinpoche, and her chest was injured, resulting in paraplegia. Although two-thirds of her limbs are unconscious, the blue sky is still optimistic and active. Yang was also inspired by the attitude of living in the blue sky. After 77 days, they stubbornly walked out of the no man's land.
