What airline is Mahan Airlines?

Mahan Airlines is an Iranian private airline headquartered in Tehran. The airline mainly operates domestic flights in Iran and international flights to the Far East, Middle East, Central Asia and Europe.

Mahan Airlines was founded in 199 1 and started operation as the first private airline in Iran in June 1992. The name "Mahan" comes from Mahan, a historic city in Kerman Province. The airline joined the International Air Transport Association in 20001year.

Mahan Airlines' main hubs are Tehran Mehrabad International Airport and Tehran Imam Khomeini International Airport. Key cities include Silla, Kish Island, Kerman, Dubai, Kuala Lumpur and Istanbul.
