My sales interview experience at Ruijie.com.

My sales interview experience at Ruijie.com.

I started looking for a job in September and participated in many interviews, which is still very touching. This time, write the face of Ruijie. com and accumulate character. Please don't laugh if you are interested-_-! ~

I don't know much about Ruijie, but I know that it is also one of the few network providers and high-tech enterprises in China, and it is developing rapidly. It seems that the competition with Huawei and ZTE is fierce. Ruijie missed the presentation and asked the students to submit their resumes. Because I don't know much about hardware, software and network, I dare not invest in R&D positions, so I joined Ruijie as a marketing engineer. I didn't expect to enter the interview directly without taking the written test, alas ~

My interview time is 4: 50, the last one in the afternoon. I arrived at the room designated by the Science Park at 4: 30, and waited until 6: 0015 before it was my turn to interview. The interview was conducted in a guest room in the Science Park. The interviewer is just a lady. She casually asked me a few irrelevant questions, such as why you chose a marketing position, and sent me away in less than 5 minutes without even asking me to introduce myself. I've been preparing all afternoon for nothing. Ruijie gave me a very bad first impression. I felt despised and unhappy.

I had already lost confidence in Ruijie, but I didn't expect to get a call from Ruijie at night 10, asking me to go to the second side of the science park at 9: 00 the next day. I don't know what their selection criteria are, which is very strange.

Arrived at the science park on time the next day. This interview was conducted in a large conference room on the third floor, which was obviously much more formal than the first interview. The chairs in the meeting room are arranged neatly, and the whole interview process is controlled by ppt projection. Every link was explained in detail with ppt before it started. There are two main interviewers and several hr mm to help. There are 10 people who participated in the interview, and their majors are quite distinctive. It can be roughly divided into the following three schools: masters from five management schools, all students majoring in marketing, know each other and naturally become one school; Four undergraduates majoring in electronics and software, including those from Shanghai University and Renmin University, have a lot in common with each other. The remaining one is me, a graduate student in engineering, and I belong to middle school. Everyone got their badges and sat in their assigned seats, and the interview began.

The first part is self-introduction, limited to 2 minutes. This need not be introduced. It should be noted that the interviewer sometimes asks another student at random after the last student introduces himself, asking him to summarize the main points of the student just introduced. So while preparing your self-introduction, you should also pay attention to others' speeches.

The second link is to promote a product on the spot for 2 minutes each. Some people sell mobile phones, some people sell conference room seats, and some people sell know-it-all cards that have been sold before. At this time, it seems that the graduate students in Guanyuan are more professional, selling an advertising plan they made. I've never been a serious salesman, so I have to take out my wallet from China Cai Ying's lab and sell it to you. Sweating.

Before entering the third link, the interviewer asked the students present to be divided into two groups, each with four people, which means that two people can't enter the next link and can only be spectators, but it doesn't mean that they are eliminated and still have a chance. Things are a little tricky. Four undergraduates automatically come together to form a group, and graduate students in the hospital automatically form a group, but with one more person, I can't find a group, Kaka. Because there was one more person in the hospital, they pulled me into their group and asked six people to form a team. The interviewer disagreed. At this point, if I don't go to hell, whoever goes to hell will quit on the spot. A brother in the hospital also carried forward the fearless spirit of my Buddha's compassion and took the initiative to sit with me in the comment box. The requirement of the third link is: choose two words from "confidence", "loyalty" and "perseverance" as key words and perform a sketch. Preparation time of each team 15 minutes, and performance for 5 minutes. This group of undergraduates performed a story about "overlord face" with the theme of "confidence and loyalty"; The graduate team simulated a basketball game with the theme of "perseverance and cooperation". On the whole, I feel that the performance of undergraduates is very passionate, and the performance of postgraduates is more professional and more in line with the theme. After the performance, two students sitting in the audience commented on each team.

The fourth link is the debate, or two groups, each group of three people, let two students sit on the bench. Undergraduate students are positive, and the debate topic is "Do a line and love a line", while graduate students are negative, and the theme is "Love a line and do a line". The debate was wonderful, which fully demonstrated everyone's good eloquence and quick response ability. In the fifth stage, we are asked to divide into two groups, two in each group, and lobby the remaining six students to join their own team. Whoever has more people in the team will win. I was going to sit in the audience all the time, but those undergraduate brothers insisted that I go up and show off, so I formed a group with my brothers from another People's College. Our goal is to set up a dormitory for six people, and the goal of the hospital graduate team is to expand the marketing team of their company. Because we left first, we succeeded in letting four people win.

The last step is to select the three people you think are the best today and vote by secret ballot. As a result, an undergraduate from the Department of Electronics of Haida University won the first prize. He is eloquent, witty and passionate. The second is a graduate student in the hospital, very professional; I am very lucky. I was awarded the third place, probably because I didn't have many opportunities to show myself and exposed few shortcomings, hehe. This result has no decisive influence on whether you can enter the next round of interview. The interviewer mainly looks at your comprehensive performance in the whole process. Next, the interviewer asked everyone to evaluate the three of us. If someone thinks he is better, he can challenge. The opinions put forward by everyone are very pertinent and insightful. The three of us also took turns to speak. First of all, I put forward my own views on the irregularity of Ruijie's first interview. The interviewer said on the spot that he must improve the interview method in the future and give more students the opportunity to fully show themselves. I don't know if my words will cause their dissatisfaction, no matter how dissatisfied. If you have any opinions, you must raise them, which will make you feel depressed. I think my advantages mainly lie in my deep engineering background and good communication skills; The disadvantage is that they are not professional enough and know little about the professional knowledge of marketing. In my opinion, a deep engineering foundation and good management professional knowledge training should be able to shape an excellent marketing engineer.

This interview lasted from 9 am to about 1 1: 30, which is probably the longest interview I have ever attended. The whole process is well organized by Ruijie Network, which fully shows the demeanor of a big company, which is different from the qualification interview. I also learned a lot during the interview, which was very impressive and experienced a good exercise. Today, I recorded it like a running account. I hope my experience will be helpful to everyone's job hunting in the future. You are also welcome to post your own interview experiences and feelings, learn from each other and make progress together.

Knowing that there are tigers in the mountains, I prefer to go to the mountains. I wish you all smooth sailing in the process of job hunting!
