First of all, for railways, the construction of the United States can be said to be very complete. There are six major railway companies in the United States. They are UP Pacific Union Railway Company, BNSF North Burlington-Santa Fe Company, CSX Company and NS South Norfolk Company. The Middle Bay Company in Illinois and the Missouri-Kansas-Texas Railway Company can be said to be the pillars of American railways, which have acquired large and small American railway companies and also supported the operation of American railways.
The next step is how American railways work. In most American railway companies, the business is divided into three parts; Core business units (such as intermodal transport, railway transport and container hub), other transport business units (such as real estate, various value-added services, technology and IT services in service logistics) and non-transport business units (hotel business and natural gas pipeline construction). This is also the main mode of operation of Amtrak, which has its own functions and is orderly.
The above is my opinion on "How many railway companies are there in the United States and how do they operate?" The answer to this question.
