Hirsch Lauterpacht (German: HerschLauterpacht,1897 August16-1960may8) is a famous Austrian international jurist who was naturalized in Britain. Professor of Cambridge University, judge of the International Court of Justice, member of Gray Law School, member of British Institute and researcher of International Law Institute, member of International Law Society. He admits that natural law does not exist, but he believes that natural law has made great contributions to international law and justice.

He also edited Oppenheim Report on International Law and International Law and British Yearbook of International Law 1944- 1955.
