Beijing hydrogen pu chuangneng technology was founded on 20 10, headed by Ouyang Xun, and its core team comes from the world's top fuel cell companies, such as American Idatech and PLUG Power (Nasdaq. Plug) and the public. Beijing Hydrogen Chuangneng Technology has built the first self-developed fuel cell stack automation production line in China, and it is also one of the most successful fuel cell enterprises in domestic commercial operation and technological innovation. It also participated in the formulation of a number of domestic fuel cell industry standards.
In Ou Yangxun's view, the development of hydrogen energy is not overheated, but technology has just arrived here. Ou Yangxun believes that today's hydrogen fuel cell industry is equivalent to the lithium battery industry in 20 13 years, and it has already ushered in the wind. At present, the conditions for the development of the whole industry have been met, depending on how this snowball rolls up. For the whole hydrogen fuel cell industry, this is an era of writing history.
According to the statistics of National Business Daily, there are nearly 30 A-share companies involved in the fuel cell industry chain, many of which have missed the outlet of lithium batteries. But at present, most of them are still in the stage of technological exploration, and it is still too early to commercialize products on a large scale.
The most typical is Xiong Tao stock. Xiong Tao Co., Ltd. was founded in 1994 and has a history of 25 years. It used to be the largest lead-acid battery exporter in China, and nearly 70% of its income came from overseas markets. Schneider, Emerson, Vodafone, Yida and other foreign giants are all corporate customers.
However, in recent years, the bottleneck of the development of lead-acid batteries has appeared, which is already overcapacity. In addition, the market is squeezed by power lithium batteries, and the comprehensive cost including lead price is rising. Especially last year, China Tower stopped purchasing lead-acid batteries and unified purchasing, which made the lead-acid battery industry suffer greatly and the market shrank. Many lead-acid battery manufacturers, including Xiong Tao, have sought business transformation.
Xiong Tao tried to enter the field of power batteries, but so far it has little action and voice in the lithium battery market. Even in the ranking of installed capacity of lithium batteries by major third-party organizations, I have never seen the name of Xiong Tao.
"Xiong Tao actually makes lithium batteries, but due to the limitation of the whole M&A financing environment, some acquisitions ended in vain, and the development of power battery business is not ideal. Later, after the reorganization strategy, the fuel cell was still blank in China at that time. Although it failed to catch up with the trend of electric vehicles, it might as well lay out hydrogen energy in advance and be a leader. " A person close to Xiong Tao shares told reporters.
Starting from 20 16, Xiong Tao began to enter the fuel cell on a large scale. At first, it invested 25 million yuan to acquire 2 1.74% shares of Beijing Hydrogen Chuangneng Technology, and then signed an agreement with Shenzhen Graduate School of Tsinghua University to cooperate in the field of fuel cells, and then established Shenzhen Hydrogen Bear Fuel Cell Co., Ltd., a wholly-owned subsidiary. It was not until September 20 17 that the fuel cell was officially announced as a development strategy.
Zhang, the chairman of the joint-stock company, said in public more than once that hydrogen fuel cells are the ultimate products of batteries, and lithium batteries will be gradually replaced by hydrogen batteries, just as lead-acid batteries are replaced by lithium batteries. Previously, Xiong Tao also signed an agreement with the Management Committee of Wuhan Economic and Technological Development Zone to build a hydrogen fuel cell industrial park in the development zone, with the goal of building a hydrogen fuel engine system production base with an annual output of 654.38 million units within 3-5 years.
In fact, in addition to Xiong Tao, a number of listed companies are also actively participating in the hydrogen energy industry chain, focusing on a certain link in the industry chain. For example, Zhangjiagang Furui Hydrogen Energy Equipment Co., Ltd., a holding subsidiary of Furuite Equipment, is mainly engaged in the design, production and batch manufacturing of hydrogen energy equipment such as high-pressure hydrogen storage bottles, on-board hydrogen supply systems and hydrogen refueling stations; Precious metal catalytic materials in platinum industry are applied to hydrogen fuel cells.
"Building a complete hydrogen energy industry chain in the initial stage of the industry requires huge investment, which is unrealistic for small and medium-sized private enterprises. On the contrary, breaking through one or two links in the industrial chain is likely to succeed. " A new energy vehicle researcher who did not want to be named told reporters that the development of hydrogen energy has great prospects, and research and development is a long and arduous process. It is difficult to see results in the short term, let alone benefit in the short term. When will industrialization be realized? When can I realize my income and start making money? No one can guarantee, but we must change and try.
For more enterprises, bigger plans are on the way.
According to china securities journal, authoritative sources revealed that hydrogen fuel cell vehicles are expected to officially implement the promotion plan of "10 cities and 1,000 vehicles" in 20 19. At present, cities with good domestic hydrogen fuel cell industry foundation, such as Beijing, Shanghai, Zhangjiakou, Chengdu, Zhengzhou, Rugao, Foshan, Weifang, Suzhou and Dalian, are likely to be selected.
It is worth mentioning that there was a similar electric vehicle project. Its full name is "Ten Cities 1000 Demonstration and Application Project of Energy-saving and New Energy Vehicles", which was started by the Ministry of Science and Technology, the Ministry of Finance, the National Development and Reform Commission and the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology in 2009. At that time, by providing financial subsidies, it was planned to develop 10 cities every year in about three years, and put 1000 new energy vehicles in each city for demonstration operation, and strive to make the operation scale of new energy vehicles in China account for 10% of the automobile market share by 20 12 years.
This project is praised by the industry as the starting point of new energy vehicles in China. However, the project has not completed the three-year goal, which is somewhat embarrassing. By the end of 20 12, the number of new energy vehicles in China exceeded 27,800. According to the data of China Automobile Association at that time, the national automobile sales in 20 19 years, and the operating scale of new energy vehicles was even less than 1% of the automobile market share.
In Ouyang Xun's view, at this stage, OEMs have insufficient understanding of fuel cells, and many suppliers who have just entered the industry are still in the learning stage. In this period, long-term cooperation between the upstream and downstream of the industry is needed, and * * * aims to make products well, overcome difficulties and develop together, and avoid doing things quickly with problems. Only through cooperation and long-term small-scale demonstration operation can the upstream and downstream run-in transition smoothly and the industry may usher in an outbreak.
"'Ten Cities and One Thousand Vehicles' is a good demonstration project. It can connect infrastructure and fuel cell vehicles, demonstrate in these cities, and then verify the safety, reliability and cost of the whole system, laying the foundation for subsequent large-scale promotion. " Ou Yangxun said, however, the goal of "10 cities and 1000 vehicles" for hydrogen fuel cell vehicles should not be set too high, otherwise there may be a situation of "10 cities and 1000 vehicles" for pure electric vehicles.
Different from the development strategy of electric vehicles and power batteries, the development of hydrogen energy involves national and local policies and regulations, energy system reform and infrastructure laying. Ou Yangxun said, "Central enterprises alone will definitely not work."
Some analysts who study hydrogen energy suggest that central enterprises and private enterprises can give full play to their respective advantages, and China Hydrogen Energy can explore a road where central enterprises and private enterprises have their own division of labor and cooperation.
