(3) Division of responsibilities for occupational health monitoring. The Municipal Health Bureau is responsible for drafting local regulations on occupational health, and regulating the prevention, health care, inspection and treatment of occupational diseases; To supervise and inspect the occupational health surveillance of the employing unit; Responsible for the supervision and management of occupational health technical service institutions and medical and health institutions that undertake occupational health examination and occupational disease diagnosis. City Safety Supervision Bureau is responsible for the supervision and inspection of occupational health in workplaces (except coal mines), and organizes to investigate and deal with occupational hazards and related illegal acts. The Municipal Health Bureau and the Municipal Safety Supervision Bureau shall, in accordance with the division of responsibilities, establish and improve the coordination mechanism, strengthen cooperation and do a good job in related work.
(4) The Municipal Health Supervision Office under the Municipal Health Bureau no longer undertakes the functions of food safety supervision and inspection in the catering industry, canteens and other consumer areas, and its 29 preparation and law enforcement personnel who undertake corresponding functions are assigned to the US Food and Drug Administration. The Municipal Health Bureau and the US Food and Drug Administration will pay close attention to the integration of food safety supervision teams.
(5) The Municipal Health Bureau, according to these Provisions, puts forward the responsibilities, staffing, leadership positions allocation scheme and ground handling workload of each internal organization, and reports it to the Municipal Office for approval.
