Historical evolution:
1950.7 The National Supply and Marketing Corporation, the predecessor of China Agricultural Resources Group, was established to be responsible for the procurement, circulation and supply of agricultural materials such as fertilizers and pesticides.
1982.2 The National Federation of Supply and Marketing Cooperatives merged with the Ministry of Commerce to establish China Agricultural Production Materials Company and Agricultural Resources Bureau of the Ministry of Commerce.
