Introduction of Nixon Oil Company

Nixon focuses on three development strategies: oil sands and shale gas in western Canada, and conventional oil and gas exploration and development mainly in the North Sea, offshore West Africa and deep water in the Gulf of Mexico. 20 12 On September 20th, Nixon's shareholders approved CNOOC's acquisition agreement, and on February 7th, 20 12, the Canadian federal government approved CNOOC's acquisition of Nexen, a Canadian federal oil company. Nixon's assets include exploration, development and production projects, which are distributed in western Canada, the British North Sea, the Nigerian Sea, the Gulf of Mexico, Colombia, Yemen and Poland. Conventional oil and gas, oil sands and shale gas are its three core businesses.
