4Y is a model of Toyota Company of Japan in 1970s, which is widely used. It has been matched with cars (Crown), light passengers (sea lions), pickup trucks (hilux) and Toyota's double-row trucks. With the continuous improvement of China's automobile emission standards, the 49 1 series engines with congenital deficiency seem to be somewhat inadequate. 49 1 adopts the design of two valves per cylinder, with side camshaft. Under this structure, it is almost impossible to change two valves into four valves. This determines the low efficiency and low power consumption of 49 1, and it is difficult to get better emission indicators. Domestic 49 1 series has a displacement of 2.237L, and the cylinder diameter× stroke 9 1×86mm. There are two forms of multi-point injection and single-point EFI in the market. The maximum power and torque of single-point EFI vehicles are about 70KW and about 178NM. Multi-point injection performance is slightly better, the maximum power is generally 76KW, and the maximum torque. Because of low efficiency, the high fuel consumption of 49 1 cannot adapt to the soaring oil price. With the improvement of production capacity and cost reduction of Shenyang Aerospace Mitsubishi 4G6 series, 4G63/4, Oriental Son and other domestic mid-level cars originally used in China are gradually installed on low-end SUVs such as Landwind, Mountain Surfing and Tiggo. The engine was developed on the basis of imported Toyota 2RZ engine, with a displacement of 2.438CC, and was designed with single overhead camshaft and 8 valves. The maximum power is 90KW/4400-4800r, the maximum torque is 205NM/2400-3200r, and the power performance is greatly improved compared with 49 1, but the emission of this engine can only meet the Euro II standard. Therefore, the manufacturer re-matched the Delphi electronic control injection system on the basis of 4G24, and introduced the improved 4RB 1 series. The performance of this engine is basically the same as that of 4G24, but it can meet the Euro 3 standard. The cheetah raider, which was launched not long ago, was equipped with this engine. On this basis, the manufacturer also developed 4RB2 series engines, double overhead camshafts and 16 valves. The maximum power can reach 102KW/4600-5000r and the maximum torque is 2 17NM/2600-3200r. The motivation has been greatly improved. At present, this engine is being calibrated and matched on some models such as brilliance jinbei and Shuanghuan, and it can be put on the market in a short time.
