Brief introduction of Yangjiang Port

Yangjiang Port is located in Pinggang Town, southwest of Yangjiang City, along the coast of Guangdong Province, in the middle of Hailingshan Port. Its geographical coordinates are 2142' 30 "north latitude, and148' 41"east longitude, and the waterway goes to Hong Kong 180 nautical miles to Macau. Between Guangzhou Port and Zhanjiang Port, plus the main hub port, a well-defined water transport system has been formed, which has become an important gateway to the sea in the central and inland areas of western Guangdong, with unlimited development potential and superior geographical location.

The traffic outside Yangjiang Port is developed: the first-class highway between Hong Kong and Shu is connected with National Highway 325, coastal expressway in western Guangdong and Kaiyang Expressway, and will be connected with Tongjiang-Sanya Expressway in 2004. The Yang (Jianggang)-Yang (Quan) railway connecting the railway has been completed and opened to traffic, with an initial capacity of 8 million tons. The railway from Yangchun to Luoding has been completed, and the railway from Luoding to Cenxi is expected to be completed within the Tenth Five-Year Plan. At that time, Yangjiang Port can be directly connected with China Railway "Luozhan" Railway through Sanmao Railway. The economic hinterland of Yangjiang Port is Yangjiang City and Yunfu; Luo ding; Maoming; Jiangmen; Western Guangdong and the western Pearl River Delta. With the improvement of the above transportation infrastructure, the economic hinterland of Yangjiang Port will extend to the northwest of Guangdong and the northeast of Guangxi. The hinterland is very broad and the port development prospect is very optimistic.

1992, Yangjiang Port built two 10,000-ton general berth terminals according to the national coastal deepwater port standards, with four gantry cranes at the front of the terminals, with a maximum lifting capacity of 35 tons, 43 other loading and unloading machines, a storage yard150,000 square meters, auxiliary production and living facilities10.3 million square meters, and an annual throughput of 700,000 tons/kloc-0. Two 120000-ton oil and gas terminals, two 6600 m3 vault diesel oil tanks, three 6600 m3 floating-roof gasoline tanks, three 6600 m3 vault heated heavy oil tanks, four 1000 m3 liquefied gas spherical tanks, two 3500 m3 oil tanks and various loading and unloading equipment have been built, with an annual throughput of 500,000 tons. Yangjiang Port has complete facilities and advanced functions. According to the economic development in the hinterland, Yangjiang Port will continue to build and expand its scale. The 35,000-ton special grain wharf and the 654.38+0.00-ton multi-purpose wharf berth are under construction (the wharf structure is built at 35,000 tons), with an additional throughput of 4 million tons.

After Yangjiang Port was put into operation, the throughput increased year by year, which fully demonstrated the regional advantages of Yangjiang Port. In 2002, the throughput reached11.2 million tons, of which the throughput of the 10,000-ton general terminal was 779,000 tons, exceeding the design throughput. In 2003, the cargo throughput was 6.5438+0.22 million tons, of which the cargo terminal handled 865,000 tons, which was overloaded. According to the forecast of economic development in the Mainland, more than 6.4 million tons of goods need to be transshipped through Yangjiang Port. Due to the limited scale and throughput of Yangjiang Port, most of the goods have to be transferred to other ports, so Yangjiang Port urgently needs to expand its scale.

The construction of Yangjiang Port plays a very important role in promoting the economic development of central Guangdong, western Guangdong and central and western regions. 1993, the State Council approved Yangjiang Port as a national first-class port. /kloc-0 passed the acceptance of the State Council Port Office in July, 1996 and was officially opened to the outside world. In accordance with the national first-class port construction standards, the establishment of customs, inspection and quarantine, border inspection, maritime and other inspection agencies, to provide customers with fast and simple one-stop examination and approval services, inspection of goods upon arrival, high customs clearance efficiency; There are shipping agents, ocean shipping tally agents and ocean shipping agents in the port. Yangjiang Port Company implements 24-hour, all-weather and year-round holiday free loading and unloading and door-to-door service, loading and unloading goods on demand, providing customers with all-round and whole-process quality and civilized services; Two scheduled foreign trade flights have been opened, namely Yangjiang Port-Hong Kong-Europe and America and Yangjiang Port-Hong Kong-Southeast Asia, to ensure timely, efficient and safe loading and unloading of goods arriving in Hong Kong.
