GAC Hino Automobile Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as GAC Hino) is a joint venture company established by Guangzhou Automobile Group Co., Ltd. and Hino Automobile Co., Ltd. with 50% capital contribution respectively. Founded on June 28th, 2007, with a registered capital of11500 million yuan, it was reorganized by Guangzhou Yangcheng Automobile in the form of "one project and two bases". Conghua base mainly produces Hino brand heavy trucks, tractors, Yangcheng brand series light trucks and drive axles. It is planned to form an annual production scale of 20,000 heavy trucks and 30,000 light trucks in the first phase. On the basis of retaining the existing series of commercial buses, Shenyang Base introduced Hino multifunctional mass-produced commercial buses (tourist buses and bus buses), with an annual output of 4,000 buses and 5,000 chassis.
On September 2 1 2009, GAC Hino was officially completed and put into production from the chemical plant, and the first batch of 700 series heavy trucks rolled off the assembly line smoothly, marking the end of the production history of non-heavy trucks in Guangdong Province. GAC Hino aims to build a world-class commercial vehicle enterprise, and takes it as its responsibility to provide customers with satisfactory products, making positive contributions to the commercial vehicle industry in China.
