What does IR mean?

Investor Relations Managements (IRM), sometimes called investor relations (IR), was born in the United States in the late 1950s. It includes the relationship management between listed companies (including companies about to be listed) and shareholders, creditors and potential investors, as well as the relationship management between listed companies and various intermediaries in the capital market in the process of communicating with investors.

The difference between IR and IRM (IRM) refers to the management behavior of listed companies to strengthen communication with investors and potential investors through various investor relations activities, so as to enhance investors' understanding of listed companies. In addition, some people think that investor relationship refers to the relationship between listed companies (including companies to be listed) and their equity, creditor's rights investors or potential investors. It also includes the relationship between listed companies and various intermediaries in the capital market in the process of communicating with investors.
