Strategic relationship of enterprise investment strategy

Enterprise strategy is a complex system, which can be divided into different levels. Generally speaking, enterprise strategy includes two levels: the first level is the overall strategy of the enterprise (also known as company-level strategy); The second level is enterprise function strategy. In the enterprise that implements the division system, the enterprise strategy also includes the division strategy. The strategy of enterprises at all levels should fully mobilize all the resource advantages within the enterprise, and at the same time comprehensively use various management functions such as planning, organization, leadership, coordination and control to give full play to the overall advantages of the enterprise in order to realize the strategic objectives of the enterprise. The overall strategy of the enterprise is the general outline of the enterprise strategy and the highest action program for the top management of the enterprise to guide and control all the behaviors of the enterprise. The main contents of an enterprise's overall strategy include a series of basic factors in its strategic decision-making, among which two factors are emphasized:

First, what business should we do? That is, to determine the nature and purpose of the enterprise, and to determine the scope and focus of enterprise activities. These factors not only determine the operating conditions of enterprises, but also determine the position of enterprises in the external market environment, so they are the basic problems for the survival and development of enterprises.

Second, how do we develop these businesses? That is, reasonable allocation of resources to meet the needs of improving the overall performance of enterprises.

Enterprise functional strategy is a strategy formulated in order to carry out, implement and support the overall strategy of an enterprise in the specific functional management field of an enterprise. The relationship between enterprise function and overall strategy is subordinate, that is, functional strategy is an integral part of overall strategy and subordinate to it. Of course, compared with the overall strategy of the enterprise, the enterprise function also has its own characteristics, that is, it is more detailed, concrete and operable. Functional strategy consists of a series of detailed plans, involving all fields of enterprise management, generally including R&D strategy, production strategy, marketing strategy and human resource development strategy.

Enterprise investment strategy is also a functional strategy. As a functional strategy, the basic starting point of investment strategy must be based on the overall situation of the enterprise, and the investment strategy of the enterprise must be carried out under and serve the overall strategy of the enterprise. Enterprise investment strategy plays an important role in the enterprise strategic system. After defining their own nature and purpose, enterprises decide how to develop these businesses through reasonable combination and application of enterprise resources.
