The new asset management regulations regulate the requirements of financial products on a commission basis, and make it clear that financial products on a commission basis refer to the act of selling financial products for them or introducing the buyers of financial products. Previously, the management department has allowed securities companies to engage in the asset management plan consignment business of securities investment funds and other securities companies. The latest exposure draft further clarifies that the wealth management products that can be sold on a commission basis should be wealth management products issued in China with the approval or filing of relevant state departments (such as CSRC, CBRC and CIRC) or their authorized institutions, including wealth management products of securities companies, wealth management products of commercial banks, trust plans of trust companies and insurance products.
