Annual Ticket System of Zhanjiang Bay Bridge

Zhanjiang Bay Bridge project includes a total length of 398 1 m, and a bridge and a first-class highway are about 2 1 km. The operation period of the project is 25 years, and the charging period is 20 years and 7 months since the project was established on July 65, 2002 at 438+02. The bridge was completed and opened to traffic on February 30, 2006, and the toll collection began at 0: 20 on February 30, 2006. The charging standard is one-way: the charging vehicles are classified by tons (seats), and the charging standards for the first to fifth types of vehicles are 5 yuan, 20 yuan, 35 yuan, 70 yuan and 95 yuan respectively. Among them, one category refers to motorcycles; The second category refers to buses with 20 seats or less, trucks with 2 tons or less, motor tricycles, simple motor vehicles and various tractors; The third category refers to passenger cars with more than 2 1 50 seats and freight cars with more than 2 tons to 5 tons (including 5 tons); The fourth category refers to passenger cars with more than 5/kloc-0 seats and freight cars with more than 5 tons to 15 tons (including 15 tons); The fifth category refers to trucks and various container trucks with 15 tons or more. According to traffic regulations, police cars, fire engines, ambulances, funeral vehicles and military vehicles are free to pass. Its high toll makes the bridge unable to play its due role after completion, and few vehicles pass by every day, which is difficult for ordinary people to accept. Even many leaders in Potou District would rather take the ferry of 12 yuan than take the Bay Bridge.

According to reports, Zhanjiang plans to raise 520 million yuan to buy back the shares of Zhanjiang Bay Bridge held by Guangdong Luqiao Construction and Development Co., Ltd., taking the annual ticket system as a breakthrough, giving full play to the "same city effect" brought by the Bay Bridge and accelerating the development and construction of Haidong New District on the east coast. The funds have been basically put in place and relevant agreements are being drafted. The repurchase was completed on 20101101. After the "restoration" of the Bay Bridge, the annual ticket system will be implemented for vehicles crossing the bridge, and the specific charging standard is to be determined.
