Which country's brand is MCM?

MCM is a brand in Munich, Germany. It was founded by Michael cromer in 1976. The brand name comes from Michael cromer Munich. However, MCM's repeated pattern bag was widely circulated in1980s. When MCM's suitcase appeared in Diana Ross's Travel and Dynasty, its popularity could be imagined. In the1990s, MCM had more than 250 stores around the world.

MCM began to experience financial difficulties in the 2000s. Apart from the fact that the founder was investigated for alleged tax evasion, what made the brand development most uneasy was the counterfeit goods flooding the market, which made the brand grade decline and the design of independent brands did not break through. Gradually, this brand, which had been popular for a while, began to withdraw from the fashion circle.

In recent years, MCM has returned to people's sight because of its acquisition of South Korean company Sungjoo Group. After the acquisition in 2005, MCM changed its name to Modern Creation München, which means style, creativity and Munich. Michael Michaelskiy, the creative director of Adidas, was also invited to redesign, but in fact, it was Korean film and television marketing that finally brought the MCM craze back.
