The centralized control project of steelmaking, continuous casting and hot rolling in the fourth rolling plant is an important part of the special work of "green development and intelligent manufacturing" in Masteel. In order to implement the general requirements of "Four Uniforms" and the strategic planning of intelligent manufacturing in China Baowu, as early as the start of the project, the No.4 Steel Rolling Plant has been in close communication with relevant departments and construction units of the company and fully cooperated with them. After more than a year of intense preparation and construction, they overcame the unfavorable factors such as short project time, heavy task and epidemic prevention and control, and ensured that the intelligent control center for steelmaking and hot rolling was steadily advanced and put into use according to nodes. Operators related to steelmaking and hot rolling processes have also overcome many difficulties, and the work of transformation, process optimization and adjustment, personnel training and operation running-in has been carried out in advance, which has effectively guaranteed the safe and efficient production and the simultaneous advancement of centralized control projects.
The centralized control project of steelmaking and continuous casting involves centralized control of process operation, steel-making logistics tracking, automatic tapping of converter, "one-key desulfurization", remote slag scraping, "one-key refining", L2 function perfection, continuous casting ladle robot, three-dimensional visualization of production process and so on. It aims to form a data content combination related to slab quality, energy consumption, equipment, operation and other topics, build a "digital slab", and realize real-time evaluation, on-demand grading and digitization. The centralized control project of hot rolling involves slab storage, 2250 heating furnace, 2250 rolling mill, 2250 and 1580 rolling room, 2250 and 1580 water treatment. Taking digital steel coil as traction, eight tasks of hot rolling production, quality, equipment, energy, cost, personnel, delivery and safety are connected in series, and efforts are made to build compact and timely.
Entering the two newly-built intelligent control centers, Xiangyun suspended ceiling is magnificent, the blue partition is novel and unique, and the glass wall is transparent, which gives people a strong visual impact; More than a dozen employees in two intelligent control halls stare at the computer, operate it carefully and monitor the big screen. All indicators are displayed in real time and accurately, and the production details are clear at a glance, full of "scientific sense". The commissioning of two intelligent control centers has improved the intelligent level of "safety, efficiency and wisdom" in the Fourth Rolling Mill, and also opened up a new space for the optimization of human resources, and truly realized one-button steelmaking and hot rolling with fewer people. In the next stage, the Fourth Rolling Mill will continue to build a highly coordinated and efficient automatic centralized intelligent control center and factory intelligent platform in accordance with the requirements of "four unifications", and embark on a road of green development and intelligent manufacturing.
