Dongchang College of Liaocheng University, referred to as "Liaoda Dongchang" for short, is a full-time undergraduate institution of higher learning approved by the people of China and the Ministry of Education. The school was established in April 2002 with the approval of Shandong Provincial Department of Education.
In June 2005, the Ministry of Education reconfirmed it as an independent college. In August 2005, it merged with Liaocheng Education College and Liaocheng Normal School.
As of 20 17, it covers an area of 500 mu, with more than 8,000 students and 348 full-time teachers.
Relying on the comprehensive strength of Liaocheng University, there are 357 faculty members, including full-time teachers 160, part-time teachers 158 and associate professors 169.

Liaocheng University is responsible for the teaching and management of the college. Management cadres and teachers are selected by Liaocheng University. Most of the teachers are professors and associate professors, and 80% of them have master's degree or above, which ensures the high quality of personnel training. According to the teaching needs, the college has established 42 student practice training bases.
