What are the sources of funds for microfinance companies?

There are three main sources of funds for microfinance companies: ① Self-owned funds, that is, verified and legal self-owned funds invested by sponsors; 2 Donation funds accepted, that is, free funds provided by international organizations or charities; (3) Financing from no more than two banking financial institutions in the province. Within the scope prescribed by laws and regulations, the capital balance obtained by microfinance companies from banking financial institutions shall not exceed 50% of the net capital. Domestic commercial banks, policy banks, postal savings banks, some foreign-funded companies and international funds may provide wholesale or entrusted funds to microfinance companies upon approval if they wish.

In addition to the above sources, microfinance companies may not absorb any form of deposits, issue bonds or raise funds in disguise. The capital invested by a small loan company must be notarized and must be the legal capital owned by the shareholders themselves.
