Adjacent to Shekou, South to Hong Kong, and across the sea from Mawan Port and Chiwan Port. Shenzhen Guangqian Electric Power Co., Ltd., which is responsible for the construction and operation of power plants, is a holding subsidiary of Guangdong Yuedian Group Co., Ltd., whose shareholders are Guangdong Yuedian Group Co., Ltd. and Guangdong Electric Power Development Co., Ltd. respectively. Qianwan Power Plant adopts M70 1F gas-steam combined cycle unit jointly produced by Mitsubishi and Dongfang. The total designed installed capacity of this project is 6×390MW, which will be constructed in two phases, of which the installed capacity in the first phase is 3×390MW.
