Dacheng Railway started in June 1992 and was opened to traffic in February 1997. On1October 27th, 2004, 165438+ officially started the capacity expansion transformation, and on July 7th, 2009, officially ended the capacity expansion transformation and started the "Harmony" EMU train. Dacheng Railway is the first (quasi) high-speed railway in southwest China. It undertakes nearly half of the transportation tasks from Sichuan to Central China, East China, South China, North China, Northeast China, South China and Southeast China. The scenery along Dacheng Railway is beautiful and dark green, reflecting the beautiful and prosperous scene of Sichuan Basin.

The operating length from Dazhou to Chengdu is 368 kilometers. Compared with the existing line, there are fewer bends and more bridges and tunnels in the whole line, and the designed maximum speed is 200 kilometers per hour, which is more than double the speed of the existing railway. On September 20 10/0, the speed was increased again, and the section from Sanhui Town Station to Suining Station was 200 km/h. Dacheng Railway is the railway with the highest design speed in southwest China.
Chengdu-chongqing railway is the first high-speed railway in the southwest of China, which undertakes the important transportation task of eastward entering Tianfu. The arrival railway is closely connected with the Hunan-Chongqing railway, becoming a traffic artery, and getting rid of the difficulty of crossing the Qinling Mountains in Sichuan. With the construction of Dacheng Railway, the train entering Sichuan directly turned south in Ankang and entered Chengdu. Relieved the transportation pressure in baoji-chengdu railway.
