Why did Yichu Lotus change to Buffon Lotus?

"Yichu" is the honorific title of Mr. Xie Yichu, the founder of Zheng Da Group. Xie Yichu's family is Chinese in Thailand.

"Lotus" is the national flower of Thailand, and Yichu Lotus was founded in Thailand. "Lotus" is the sacred flower of Buddhism, symbolizing good luck. Thailand is a country where Buddhism prevails, so it is named to reflect the pursuit of common development of society and group undertakings.

Thai retail supermarket giant Yichu Lotus will be renamed as "CP Lotus". Yichu Lotus Headquarters issued a notice to all regions of the country that the name of Yichu Lotus, which has been used in China for more than three years, will be changed to CP Lotus one after another.

It is reported that in April, 2007, at the Lotus Annual Meeting in Yichu, the relevant materials were changed to "Lotus Lotus", but at that time, there were great internal differences and some people felt uncomfortable, so the name of "Lotus Lotus" was not determined for a long time, and later several candidates such as "Lotus Lotus Lotus" and "Zheng Da Lotus" were added. Finally, Zheng Da Group decided to rename all 76 stores as "Lotus at the Early Stage".

A senior manager of CP Lotus South China said that the store's LOGO and outdoor advertising will be renamed, and the CI color of the company will be changed from the original iconic pattern of white lotus with green background to the logo of yellow lotus with red background. The new name of "CP Lotus" is named for Zheng Da CP Group, the parent company of Shunying Store. It is reported that Zheng Da Group is called "CP Group" in Thailand.

According to reports, in 2004, "Lotus at the Early Stage" was transformed from "Wankelong" due to changes in internal equity. "Yichu" is named after Xie Yichu, the father of Xie Guomin, the chairman of Zheng Da Group and the founder of Zheng Da Group. Because Zheng Da Group has decided that his father's anonymity will only be used for charity in the future, Lotus Supermarket in Yichu will be renamed. "Renaming has nothing to do with the company's next development strategy." The person stressed.
