The four Asian Little Dragons, including South Korea, Taiwan Province Province, Singapore and Xiangman, are four successful countries or regions in East Asia and Southeast Asia, and their related and extremely successful economic development process and experience are typical examples of development economics research. These countries or regions experienced rapid economic growth from 1970 to 1990 in the 20th century, but before that, they were only countries or regions mainly engaged in agriculture and light industry. They took advantage of the opportunity of transferring labor-intensive industries from western developed countries to developing countries, attracted foreign investment and technology, adjusted their economic development strategies in time by using local cheap and high-quality labor, and quickly embarked on the road of development, becoming a newly developed country or region in Asia after Japan, and also becoming the economy of East Asia and Southeast Asia.
