On August 23rd, Shanghai Lingang Intelligent Networked Automobile Comprehensive Test Demonstration Zone opened, which means that China's first comprehensive demonstration zone for unmanned systems on land, sea and air is under construction and has taken an important step forward.
In May, 20 18, Lingang District issued the Planning Scheme of Unmanned System Land, Sea and Air Comprehensive Demonstration Zone, proposing to build an unmanned closed site with the richest scenes and the most perfect functions in China, which is open to unmanned enterprises all over the country, providing unmanned test method research and integrated data management.
According to the plan, the first phase of the unmanned system comprehensive demonstration zone will build an unmanned closed test road with a total length of 4.7 kilometers, a closed test site and some open road test areas, an unmanned ship test site in Dishui Lake with an area of about 1 square kilometer, and two low-altitude navigation flight airspace with a diameter of 6 kilometers and a height of 200 meters. The area of the experimental area will be expanded according to the development needs.
The open intelligent networked vehicle comprehensive test demonstration area is the "land" of land, sea and air, and will be built in three phases. Up to now, the first phase has been completed and put into trial operation, including 26. 1km open test road, 3km2 closed test area and data center. The area has achieved full coverage of 4G and 5G networks, and the environment of vehicle-road collaborative intelligent transportation system has been initially established.
Shanghai Lingang Intelligent Networked Automobile Comprehensive Test Demonstration Zone is planned and invested by Lingang New District Management Committee, which integrates technical and management resources such as Shanghai Lingang Science and Technology Innovation City Economic Development Co., Ltd., Shanghai Motor Vehicle Testing and Certification Technology Research Center, China Information and Communication Research Institute, and jointly establishes Shanghai Lingang Intelligent Networked Automobile Research Center Co., Ltd. (Shang Yan Zhilian), which is responsible for the operation and management of the park and provides technical support for its development.
Compared with the experimental zone that has been put into use in China at present, Gu Changshi said that the Lingang experimental demonstration zone has the characteristics of better road conditions, larger regional scope, more scientific and rich scenes, stronger network connection function, more room for improvement, more complete product coverage, more realistic experimental environment and stronger technical support.
"The second phase will open more application scenarios, such as unmanned taxis from subway stations to parks, unmanned minibuses, unmanned sweepers in logistics areas and so on." Gu Changshi said that driverless driving is still developing and needs a lot of technology and facilities to verify and help the industry formulate standards and norms, which will also promote industrial development faster.
According to reports, Shanghai Lingang Intelligent Networked Vehicle Comprehensive Test Demonstration Zone was built with reference to domestic and international unmanned test planning standards and advanced test sites at home and abroad. According to the design scene requirements of mainstream enterprises at home and abroad, combined with the national traffic accident database, it is very suitable for the road traffic characteristics of China and the development of intelligent networked vehicles landing in China.
Since the development and construction in 2003, automobile enterprises such as SAIC Roewe, SAIC Chase, Mache Technology, Brayton, Chinese Express, Newark Technology and artificial intelligence enterprises such as Iflytek, Horizon, Mainline Technology and Tucson Future have gathered in the port area, and the intelligent networked automobile industry chain has begun to take shape.
