League of Legends (LOL for short) is a heroic online game against MOBA developed by Riot Games in the United States and operated by tencent games in Chinese mainland.
League of Legends was founded by Steve Guinsoo, the original map author of DOTA-all stars (the main developer of DOTA, named after the sheep knife in DOTA), joined by PenDragen, the founder of DOTA-All Stars community, and TomCadwell, the former game planner of World of Warcraft, the master planner of warcraft 3 and the numerical balancer of warcraft 3.
