Brief introduction of China Power Investment Corporation North China Branch

North China Branch has seven functional management departments, including General Management Department, Personnel and Labor Department, Finance and Property Department, Production Management Department, Planning and Development Department, Supervision and Audit Department and Party-Mass Work Department.

According to the authorization of China Power Investment Corporation, North China Branch is responsible for managing the relevant assets and equity owned by the Group in North China. North China Branch includes four wholly-owned subsidiaries (China Power Investment Shanxi Niangziguan Power Generation Co., Ltd., China Power Investment Shanxi Yongji Thermal Power Co., Ltd., China Power Investment Shanxi Houma Power Generation Co., Ltd. and China Power Investment Shanxi Bagong Power Generation Co., Ltd.) and four holding subsidiaries (China Power Investment North China Power Engineering Co., Ltd., Shanxi CLP Fuel Co., Ltd., Shanxi Puguang Power Generation Co., Ltd. and Qinhuangdao Qinre Power Generation Co., Ltd.), which are responsible for managing Shanxi Zhangze Holding Co., Ltd. (auxiliary companies).

By the end of June 2005, it had a controllable (management) capacity of 948,000 kilowatts and a capital stock capacity of 674,000 kilowatts. There are 5082 employees.

As the regional cost control center, safety production management center, development planning center, security supervision center and coordination service center of the group company in North China, North China Branch's main task is to organize subordinate enterprises to complete power (heat) production, sales target and power development, investment, construction and operation management according to the authorization of the group company, so as to provide safe, stable and economical power (heat) supply for industrial and agricultural production and people's life in North China. As the enterprise window of the group company in North China, we sincerely hope to establish a standardized relationship between government and enterprises with governments at all levels, relevant departments and branches of SERC. Establish a new type of plant-network relationship with regional and provincial power grid operators; Establish good cooperative relations with other power generation enterprises and strive for greater development of North China Branch.
