2065438+On May 5, 2006, China's 4,500m manned submersible and 10,000m deep submersible mother ship "Exploration No.1" completed the main reconstruction project in CSSC Chengxi Ship (Guangzhou) Co., Ltd. and officially delivered it to Chinese Academy of Sciences. The manned submersible and working mother ship "Exploration No.1" used for 10,000-meter deep diving ended its maiden voyage and docked at the rescue dock of Sanya Base of South China Sea Rescue Bureau.
On August 23rd, during the maiden voyage of the "Exploration No.1" scientific research ship, China's deep-sea equipment obtained more than 100 liter of water at the seabed of 10,000 meters, which is the first time that China's deep-sea equipment obtained 10,000 meters of seawater, and there is no precedent in international equivalent or similar equipment.
