The King of Barbecue is a northeast comedy film jointly produced by Cat's Eye Culture Media Co., Ltd., Butterfly Effect Culture Media Co., Ltd., Zhejiang Haifu Culture Media Co., Ltd. and Jiaxi Culture Media Co., Ltd., directed and jointly directed by Zhang Qi, Guo, Li Kunying, He Yutong, Zhang Xinyue and Li Ke.
The film tells the story of "unlucky" Li who accidentally embarked on the road of running a barbecue shop in order to help his boss solve the contradiction between father and son.
