What are the advantages of helping Liu Bei do what he says?

Before the establishment of the Shu-Han regime, Liu Bei, the king of Shu, had a rough experience. He was born in Zhuo County, Youzhou. He was famous for his bravery when he was young. Later, he turned to the army and gained a lot in the battle to suppress the yellow turban insurrectionary army, so he was able to enter the official career. In the next few years, Liu Bei traveled around the Central Plains and visited Youzhou, Xuzhou, Yuzhou and Jizhou successively. Later, he stayed in Jingzhou, went south to Fankou, and finally entered Yizhou, establishing a brilliant Shu-Han regime. This special experience also makes the division of factions within the Shu-Han regime particularly complicated.

First, the recognized four groups based on the above experience, Liu Bei's counselors and military commanders are from different places. The ancients paid great attention to resistance and became accustomed to "mountainism" politically, which led to the emergence of several groups of different sizes within the Shu-Han regime. If each group is regarded as a group, then the four most distinctive and representative groups are recognized by the world.

First, Zhongyuan Group. In his early years, Liu Bei wandered in the Central Plains, but these people never gave up and followed him to Shu. Because of this, Liu Bei's most trusted group is these old men. Zhongyuan Group has military commanders and counselors. The former is represented by Guan Yu and Zhang Fei, while the latter is represented by Sun Gan and Mi Zhu. After years of struggle, Zhongyuan Group has been declining, especially after Zhang Guan was killed.

Second, Jingzhou Group. When Liu Bei lived in Jingzhou, many local talents came here, which also caused Liu Biao's dissatisfaction: "More and more Jingzhou heroes are returned to their original owners, and their hearts are suspicious." Nevertheless, the Jingzhou gentry group headed by Zhuge Liang is still willing to follow Liu Bei, a lean contemporary (the reason why I call Liu Bei this way, see the last article: Liu Bei and Zhuge Liang's "predatory thought" from the war launched by Shu State). During Zhuge Liang's reign, Jingzhou gentry developed rapidly, such as Ma Su, Jiang Wan, Dong Que and others, all of whom became important ministers for a while.

Third, Dongzhou Group. The Eastern Zhou Army was established when Yizhou was about to enter Shu, which was different from Yizhou's strongmen. Therefore, Dongzhou Group is an outsider, loyal to Ada and Liu Zhang. After Liu Bei entered Shu, Liu Zhang surrendered, and his Eastern Zhou Group was also owned by Liu Bei. When Liu Bei entrusted orphans, in order to balance factions, he also reused Li Yan of the Eastern Zhou Group, hoping to make him rival Zhuge Liang.

Fourth, Yizhou Group. This group is the local influential Haozu power in Yizhou. But interestingly, whether Liu Zhang was in power or Liu Bei entered Shu, Yizhou Group was severely excluded and suppressed. Because of this, when Wargo attacked Shu, the old people of Yizhou, headed by Qiao Zhou, strongly advocated surrender, forcing Liu Chan, the late ruler, to give up the city directly.

Second, the fifth largest group in Shu is recognized as an influential group in Shu and Han in the world. However, in my opinion, Shu also had the fifth largest group. Although this small group is small in number, in its heyday, even Zhuge Liang had to avoid its edge for some time. The representative of the fifth largest group, I believe you are no stranger. This man is Fazheng, who was born in Fufeng County.

In the Han Dynasty, the imperial court divided the three areas near the capital into three areas for management, thus forming three auxiliary areas, namely Jing Zhaoyin, Zuo Fengyi and You Fufeng. At the end of the Han Dynasty, Fufeng was changed to Fufeng County. Since the mid-Eastern Han Dynasty, Sanfu area has always been a good place, not only close to the capital, but also prosperous in population and rich in land. "The Biography of Wang Yun in the Later Han Dynasty" records: "At the beginning, Yi Song, the same county, was allowed to be Zuo Fengyi and Wang Hong was the right assistant. At that time, the three assistants were prosperous and the army valley was rich. " Unfortunately, no matter how rich the region is, it can't be attacked by war.

Since the death of Dong Zhuo, his subordinates Li Jue and Guo Si have been in charge of Liangzhou army, which caused the massacre in Chang 'an. "The History of the Later Han Dynasty Dong Zhuochuan" records: "At the beginning of the emperor's entry into the customs, there were still hundreds of thousands of accounts for three auxiliary accounts. Since the attack, after the son of heaven returned to the east, Chang' an has been empty for more than 40 days. The strong are scattered and the dead eat each other. After two or three years of idleness, there is no trace of Guan Zhong. "It's not hard to see that many celebrities who helped out by the war had no choice but to leave their homes, some went to Jingzhou, and some went to Yizhou.

Among them are Fa Zheng and others. Although many people attribute Fa Zheng to Dongzhou Group, judging from his behavior, although he is a celebrity in Sichuan, he is not close to Dongzhou people. This can be seen from the fact that both Hehe actively encouraged Liu Bei to enter Shu. It is worth mentioning that Meng Da is also a helper. So why are these two helpers so eager for Liu Bei to enter Shu?

The answer is simple. People who help the wind, such as Fazheng, are simply untenable in Yizhou.

When Liu Zhang became Yizhou Pastoral, most of Gao Qian came from Dongzhou Group. Among many high-level, there is only one person, the tip of Chang's tongue, who is the trainer of Fufeng. There is also a record in The Romance of the Three Kingdoms: "At the beginning of Jian 'an, there was a famine all over the world, all in the same county as Liu Zhang and Mengda. "Unfortunately, Dongzhou Group is more exclusive. Although Fazheng and Mengda are very talented, they can't always be reused. " They were neither appointed by overseas Chinese in their cities nor slandered by them, and their wishes could not be met. Therefore, the gifted scholars who helped Liu Bei to enter Shu, headed by Fa Zheng and Mengda, tried their best to improve their political status by virtue of "the merit of the dragon".

Thirdly, Liu Bei was naturally overjoyed at the rise and fall of Fufeng Group in the face of Fazheng and Mengda's vote. If Liu Bei and Zhuge Liang are "respectful as guests"; Then Liu Bei's treatment of Fa Zheng is "obedient". Liu Bei can get the land of Hanzhong, all by the plan of legal power. Later, Liu Bei was promoted to the position of King of Hanzhong, "taking Zheng Zheng as the prefect of Shu County and General Yang Wu, making his capital outside, and asking the Lord to stay inside". Except for the law, other people who help the wind have high status. The first four important ministers in Liu Bei as the King of Hanzhong are: "Ma Chao, the general of Pingxi, Pang, the general of a town with a long history, and Cao Cao, who is engaged in the army corps commander, are discussing the assistance of the corps commander ..."

Ma Chao-en's prestige is very heavy, and his archery assistance is quite famous in Shu. Both of them are Fufeng trainers. And Xu Jing can get the reuse of Liu Bei, thanks to the recommendation of Fazheng, so it can also be regarded as a member of Fufeng Group. Let's look at Mengda again. He was a satrap at that time. Yidu is located at the junction of Jingzhou and Yizhou, which is an extremely important strategic location. Non-important officials are not allowed to be stationed here. Judging from the fact that both Zhang Fei and Zhou Yu were stationed here, Liu Bei attached great importance to Meng Da.

As can be seen from the above, before and after Liu Bei was promoted to the king of Hanzhong, Fufeng people occupied an extremely important position in the Shu-Han regime. Fa Zheng, the representative of Fufeng Group, surpassed Zhuge Liang and became Liu Bei's most trusted counselor. When Fa Zheng was the magistrate of Shu County, he often retaliated because of "the virtue of one meal, deep resentment and killing several people who harmed himself". Someone reported the Dharma to Zhuge Liang, who "knew the elegance of his ancestors and the letter of love" and was helpless. Later, Liu Bei attacked Wu and suffered a crushing defeat. Zhuge Liang sighed after listening: "If the law is filial, it can control the master, not the east; If you go back to the East, you won't be in danger. "It can be seen that even Zhuge Liang himself is inferior, sighing for Fa Zheng.

It's a pity that Fufeng Group, though prominent in the Shu-Han regime, declined because of the death of one person. In the second year of Liu Beijin's reign as king of Hanzhong, Fa Zheng died of illness. "The former master was tired and wept for it." After the death of Fazheng, Fufeng Group lost its backbone and its status plummeted. Mengda was transferred from the central government and stationed in three counties of Shang Yong. He couldn't stand Liu Feng's insult, so he led his troops to Wei. Although Ma Chao is detached, he often "cares about the country and the people" and does not hesitate to betray his friends to show his loyalty. Such as Xu Jing, She Yuan and others were even more silent and didn't do much.

Fufeng Group, which was once famous for a while, rose because of the plan of the legal system and fell behind because of the death of the legal system. It's like a comet, which only died in the Shu-Han regime and then disappeared.
