Maotai Group, namely Kweichow Moutai Co., Ltd., is located in Maotai Town on the Chishui River in northern Guizhou. It is located at east longitude 106 22', north latitude 27 5 1', with an altitude of 423 meters. By the end of 2003, it occupied an area of 2.2 million square meters, with a building area of 947,800 square meters. The factory area includes the company office building, Moutai production workshop, liquor storage workshop and packaging workshop.
