On June 26, 2007, according to the Reply of the People's Government of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region on Agreeing to Establish Guangxi Nonferrous Metals Group Co., Ltd. (Gui Zheng Han [2007] 180), SASAC of the autonomous region integrated six state-owned or state-controlled enterprises at the same level, including Liuzhou Huaxi Group Co., Ltd., and established Guangxi Nonferrous Metals Group Co., Ltd. on July 28, 2008, which is owned by a wholly state-owned group. The business scope covers Nanning, Liuzhou, Hechi and other 12 prefecture-level cities in Guangxi, and branches or representative offices have also been set up in surrounding areas such as Guizhou, Hong Kong, Southeast Asia and South Africa.
Since its establishment, Guangxi Nonferrous Metals Group has made great efforts in mineral resources integration, financing and major project construction, accelerated enterprise merger and reorganization, accelerated technological transformation and industrial transformation and upgrading, and made great progress in all work, with economic indicators such as operating income, total profits and taxes, and industrial output value all increasing substantially. In 20 13, the group company ranked 10 in "Top 65438 Enterprises in Guangxi" and 443rd in "Top 500 Enterprises in China".
