1, Siasos International Airport
Siasos International Airport is located on Siasos Island, Greece, and the narrow runway is only about 1628 meters long. Princess Julianne International Airport is located on the Caribbean island of Sint Maarten. The airport was named after Princess Julianne, then heir to the Dutch throne. Originally used as a simple military airport, it was changed to a civil airport after 1943. The biggest feature of Princess Julianne Airport is that the runway is only 2349 meters long, but large passenger planes can still land safely.
Because the runway 10 is too close to the sea, it is impossible to set the airflow buffer zone. When the plane arrived at Maho Beach near the airport, the height from the beach was only about 10-20m.
5. Gao Xue Ville Airport
Gao Xue Ville Airport serves the ski resorts in the French Alps and has a 560-meter-long runway, which is mainly used by helicopters and small fixed-wing aircraft. The runway is located on the mountain at an altitude of 2008 meters, with a slope of 18.6%.
There is actually a hill in the middle of the runway, and the plane needs to land uphill and take off downhill to reduce the taxiing distance. So landing there is not an easy task. The pilot must land perfectly at the first time. To make matters worse, this airport does not provide lighting or instrument assistance, so it can't take off and land in bad weather.

8. madeira airport
Madeira airport is located on the west coast of Africa and belongs to the Portuguese island of Madeira. There is an airport surrounded by the sea on one side and mountains on the other. 9. Telluride Airport
Telluride Airport, located at 9070 feet above sea level, is the highest commercial airport in the United States, serving the world-famous Telluride ski resort. There are huge cliffs at both ends of the runway. Landing will become difficult even for experienced pilots in strong winds. However, telluride and the magnificent scenery of the San Juan Mountains are still the existence of people regardless of the danger.
Jinchengjiang Airport, Hechi, Guangxi 10
Hechi Jinchengjiang Airport is located in Hechi Town, 28 kilometers northwest of Hechi City, Guangxi, with an altitude of 677 meters, which is the highest airport in Guangxi. In order to build the airport, construction workers fought day and night and leveled 65 hills, large and small. Only in this way can we finally build a 2.2-kilometer-long runway, which is the most difficult to construct in the world, and the complex terrain has also brought many problems.
Although this airstrip is one of the narrowest runways in the world, it can stop three flights per hour, and the traffic volume is still considerable. Hechi Jinchengjiang Airport is like an aircraft carrier deep in the mountains. This airport, built on the edge of a cliff, blew up 65 hills and was surrounded by ravines about 300 meters high, so it was called "Cliff Airport".
