Previously, the self-operated rookie delivered directly to the door has been serving orders from Tmall Supermarket. This quarter, rookie direct delivery began to provide on-site service for Tmall International. At present, 80% of the rookie bonded warehouses have been connected to realize door-to-door delivery. At the end of the last 100 meter, it will be delivered to the door by joining the rookie station. At present, the door-to-door delivery launched by the rookie station in conjunction with Tmall and Taobao has covered more than 200 cities, and the same-day selection and delivery can be realized at the earliest. In this quarter, about 70% rookie stations can provide home delivery service for consumers.
In addition, rookie also launched a new door-to-door delivery method this quarter: through Shentong Express, rookie station, rookie direct delivery and so on. Consumers can choose home delivery in advance when placing an order on Taobao, and there is no extra cost. At present, the service has been piloted in Hangzhou, Xi, Jiaxing and other cities, and the home delivery rate of key cities has been at the leading level in the industry since the pilot.
The rookie supply chain is also helping brand merchants to deliver goods to offline supermarkets, merchant counters and dealer warehouses, forming an integrated supply chain of toB and toC.
In the supply chain of characteristic industries, the rookie will upgrade its services around industries such as home improvement, heavy goods, cold chain, household appliances, FMCG and beauty. Lin Wan said that in order to help brand businesses improve their supply chain capabilities to cope with the complex environment, rookie will increase investment and create targeted solutions according to the industry characteristics of different brands.
At the same time, building a global trunk network by air, sea, rail and land and building a local distribution network in some countries and regions are also the key layout direction of rookie.
