Yankuang Guotai Chemical Co., Ltd. is a large-scale high-tech coal chemical enterprise jointly built by Yankuang Group and American Guotai Coal Chemical Holdings Co., Ltd. It is a demonstration project of Yankuang Group to pay equal attention to coal and non-coal and vigorously develop coal chemical industry. High technology content, advanced technology, wide application of high-tech materials, excellent comprehensive environmental protection performance and strong sustainable development ability. The main products are acetic acid, methanol, liquid oxygen, liquid nitrogen, liquid argon and liquid sulfur, and polygeneration power generation. The "New Coal Water Slurry Gasification Technology" and "Clean Gas Power Generation and Methanol Co-production Key Technology" adopted by the Ministry of Science and Technology were included in the National "863" Plan during the Tenth Five-Year Plan, and passed the national project acceptance in May 2006. In addition, a number of patented technologies with independent intellectual property rights in China were applied to industrial production for the first time.
