STX (Dalian) Shipbuilding Co., Ltd. is the earliest large-scale shipbuilding production base established by Korean enterprises in China. STX (Dalian) Shipbuilding mainly produces 58K~98K bulk carriers, car carriers and other ordinary ships. Based on the global competitiveness of STX Shipbuilding (ranked 5th in the world in 2007), the company will strive to establish a stable professional foundation in a short time.
By then, STX (Dalian) Shipbuilding will form two specialized production bases with Zhenhai Shipyard, specializing in the construction of LNG ships, super-large container ships, large crude oil tankers (VLCC), icebreakers and other high value-added ships, thus enabling STX Group to ensure the world's leading ability to take orders and laying the foundation for flexibly and effectively undertaking comprehensive orders for various types of ships.
