The rise of cement waste heat power generation

1In March 1998, the first pure low-temperature waste heat generator set donated by the Japanese government in China was built and put into operation in Conch. In the past ten years, the project has achieved good social and economic benefits and played a good demonstration role. Conch Group integrated innovation, improved the design according to the characteristics of cement technology on the original basis, and independently developed DCS system, personalized design and domestic equipment. The developed waste heat power generation technology of pure low temperature cement kiln has high waste heat recovery efficiency, no need to replenish fuel and no pollution, and has been in the leading position in the world. This technology is a green power generation technology that conforms to the national industrial policy, a circular economy technology that is environmentally friendly, energy-saving and emission-reducing, and meets the requirements of sustainable development, and its economic benefits are also very significant.

The installed capacity of pure low-temperature waste heat power generation of Conch Group ranks first among global cement enterprises. In 2005, Conch began to build a large-scale waste heat power generation project. In order to implement the call and policy of national energy conservation and emission reduction, and assume due social responsibilities, Conch introduced Kawasaki's advanced waste heat power generation technology, combined with Conch's engineering design, complete equipment capacity, project implementation capacity and debugging experience, and jointly established Anhui Conch Kawasaki Engineering Co., Ltd. and Anhui Conch Kawasaki Energy Saving Equipment Manufacturing Co., Ltd. with Kawasaki Complete Equipment Engineering Co., Ltd. to better promote pure low-temperature waste heat power generation technology in China.

In August 2006, the first self-designed and fully equipped power generation project with a daily output of 5,000 tons of cement clinker was completed and put into operation in Ningguo Cement Plant. By the first half of 2009, Conch Group had built and put into operation 28 waste heat generators with an installed capacity of 465.5 MW, and the waste heat generators under construction 15, with an installed capacity of 162 MW. The total installed capacity reaches 627 MW, and the annual power generation of all the above units is 4.769 billion kWh. According to the same caliber of thermal power generation, it can save standard coal10.72 million tons and reduce carbon dioxide emission by 410.3 million tons every year.

By May 2009, Anhui Conch Kawasaki Engineering Co., Ltd. had also popularized and applied 97 units in 20 other cement enterprise groups at home and abroad, involving cement clinker production lines 156, with installed capacity 1334.6 MW. After all the above projects are completed, it is estimated that the annual power generation will be 1.0 1.48 million kwh, with emission reduction of 85%.

In addition to Conch, Conch Kawasaki Engineering Company also extended it to other domestic 14 cement enterprises, involving the waste heat power generation project of 7 1 cement clinker production line, with 49 units and installed capacity of 6 18 MW. The waste heat power generation market has covered 2/kloc-0 provinces and cities in China.

Among them, abroad, it has undertaken six sets of waste heat power generation general contracting projects supporting cement clinker production lines in Thailand, Pakistan and other countries, with an installed capacity of 90 MW.
