The topic is: Li He seizes the commanding heights of the industry and scientifically deduces the legend. So, Mr. Ma, how did science and technology make a legend?
Ma: Digital TV is the hot spot of information technology and media industry, and it is one of the main focuses of global economic and technological competition. The digital audio-visual industry represented by digital TV will become one of the largest industries in the world in the future. In the "Eleventh Five-Year Plan" just formulated, the government of China has written the integration of three networks into it for the first time, and proposed to strengthen the information infrastructure construction of the next generation Internet such as broadband digitalization and digital TV network, and promote the integration of three networks. "Bauhinia Shenwang" is a value-added service platform based on terrestrial wireless TV network, which is innovatively developed on the basis of Tsinghua DMB-T terrestrial digital TV transmission scheme. It is a multimedia interactive application platform integrating terrestrial TV network and telecom mobile network, and realizes the application of "three networks in one". From this perspective, Li He's technology is already at the highest point in the industry.
At present, China's terrestrial digital TV market has been covered to some extent, but the basic digital TV services carried by terrestrial TV networks are far from exerting the potential of terrestrial TV networks. "Bauhinia Divine Network" makes full use of the asymmetry of Internet information uplink and downlink, and combines the broadband downlink of terrestrial digital TV with the uplink of telecom mobile network, which is a new type of comprehensive information interaction platform. Downlink transmission makes full use of the advantages of wide channel, such as high bandwidth and low cost, and uplink uses the existing telecommunication network and mobile network channels. M: Tsinghua University undertakes the task of T-technology industrialization with independent intellectual property rights. We have invested in eight mobile digital TV companies and become the largest terrestrial digital TV operator in China, which is a platform with great potential. At present, receiving terminals are mainly built in public transportation, buildings, taxis and other fields. In the future, the focus will be on personal handheld terminals, such as mobile phones.
From the hardware point of view, these terminals together will be a valuable media network. From a soft point of view, Li He's "Bauhinia Shenwang" system can realize a variety of value-added services. What we can think of now is only a small part. With the expansion and deepening of the application, more demand will be tapped and more value-added services will be produced. Just like the short message service of telecom, who can foresee the huge economic effect it brings? HC Network: The opposite of favorable factors may be difficulties and obstacles. Mr. Ma, what difficulties or obstacles do you think exist in the development of Xianglihe and similar enterprises at present? How to break through?
M: In order to realize the industrialization of T technology in Tsinghua, a joint venture company has been established with the local radio and television department, and a number of factories have been set up through joint ventures to improve the industrial chain. At present, Li He has established 15 joint ventures (including factories and mobile TV companies) in China, and launched mobile TV operations in 20 provinces and cities across the country. Previously, the European standard DVB-T almost stood firm in China, and has been applied in many cities. Li He's rapid expansion in the market and his attack on the enemy changed this situation. Up to June 38, 2005+February, 35 provinces and cities in China have started the terrestrial digital TV project, among which 20 provinces and cities have adopted DMB-T technology. The market share of DMB-T standard with independent intellectual property rights has exceeded that of European standards.
Behind the joy is great pressure. Because the maturity of technology lies in large-scale application. The national standard has not been issued, which makes it impossible for the industry to develop on a large scale. On the one hand, operating costs remain high, making it difficult for operators to explore the market; On the other hand, those who have not entered the market hold a wait-and-see attitude, and may choose Eurostandard under the preconceived advantage of Eurostandard. This is contrary to the state's strong support for independent intellectual property rights.

M: I think there are at least the following points. First, the standard of terrestrial digital TV was officially promulgated.
Second, the broadcast and television value-added service platform-Bauhinia Shenwang is officially put into operation, which will generate new operating modes and profit points.
Thirdly, MP5 will become a hot spot in the industry. In 2005, the sales of MP4 more than doubled. In 2006, one of the main opportunities for upgrading MP4 products is to add DTV function. Generally speaking, MP5=MP4+ wireless IPTV+ on-demand function+download function. Compared with DTV, IPTV can make more efficient and scalable use of frequency resources.
