Brief introduction of Thai national oil company

The State Petroleum Administration of Thailand was established in 1978. It is an oil and gas industry management organization and operating entity under the Ministry of Industry of Thailand. After the establishment of the bureau, the former Thailand Natural Gas Bureau, Petroleum Fuel Bureau and Bangcha Refinery were merged successively. PTT's board of directors is composed of 12 ministers appointed by the government, with Thai Prime Minister Sippanondba Ketudat as the chairman of the board. The Exploration and Production Company (PTTEP) of the State Petroleum Administration of Thailand is a company responsible for upstream activities, and has formed joint ventures with private companies, such as Thai Petroleum Company, Bangchack Petroleum Company, National Petrochemical Company (NPC), Thailand Olefin Company, Thailand Aromatics Company, National Fertilizer Company (BFC), Thailand Oil Pipeline Company, Fuel Oil Pipeline Transportation Company and Bangkok Aviation Fuel Oil Company.
