Time of establishment of CCTV -IMG (Beijing) Sports Event Management Co., Ltd.

On the eve of the opening of the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games, the establishment ceremony of CCTV IMG Sports Event Management Co., Ltd., jointly organized by CCTV and IMG, was held in Beijing. Sun Yusheng, deputy director of CCTV, Li Jian, president of China International Television Corporation, and Jiang Heping, director of CCTV Olympic Channel attended the signing ceremony. Teddy Faustmann, chairman and CEO of IMG, and Dr. robert lawrance kuhn, senior partner and consultant of IMG, praised this as a perfect "international marriage". At the press conference, the two parties formally announced the establishment of CCTV IMG Sports Event Management Co., Ltd., with Jiang Heping, director of CCTV Olympic Channel, as the company's chairman and Ruan Wei, managing director of CTV Sports Promotion Co., Ltd. as the company's CEO.
