Is the tap water in Taizhou, Zhejiang Province in the sea?
Tap water in Taizhou is not seawater. At present, more than half of the tap water supplied to Taizhou citizens comes from huangyan district Changtan Reservoir. The rainwater collection area of Changtan Reservoir is 44 1.3 square kilometers, which ensures the drinking of about 3 million Taizhou people in the main urban areas such as Huangyan, Jiaojiang and Luqiao, as well as Linhai and Wenling. In addition, Linhai, Wenling, Yuhuan, Sanmen and other places have their own small reservoirs (such as Niutoushan Reservoir and Lishimen Reservoir), and there is no need to use desalinated seawater.
