There are several mints in China.

There are four mints in China: Shanghai Mint, Shenyang Mint, Nanjing Mint and Shenzhen Bao Guo Mint.

Shenyang Mint is the oldest existing mint in China. Founded in 1896, it is the first machinery factory in Northeast China, creating a "precedent of modern Shenyang machinery industry". It is the current domestic copper alloy coin production base.

Shanghai Mint Co., Ltd., formerly known as Shanghai Mint, was established in 1920, with a history of 95 years.

It is a mint designated by the People's Bank of China, and ranks first among the four largest mints in China along with Shenyang Mint, Nanjing Mint and Shenzhen Bao Guo Mint. Shanghai Mint belongs to China Banknote Printing and Minting Corporation.

Nanjing Mint Co., Ltd. was formed by the relocation of the machinery manufacturing part (third-line enterprise) of the former State-owned 503 Factory of Donghe Printing Company to Jiangning, and the merger of the State-owned 940 Factory (third-line enterprise) and the local hardware factory. R&D and manufacturing of special equipment for printing and minting money, and production of circulating coins.

Shenzhen Bao Guo Mint Co., Ltd. is affiliated to China Gold Coin Corporation of the People's Bank of China. It is a state-level mint enterprise integrating the production, scientific research, sales and storage of gold and silver coins in China.
