What is the specific difference between AC reactor and DC reactor?

As the name implies: AC reactors used in AC circuits are generally divided into three phases and single phase, while DC reactors used in DC system circuits can only be single phase.

The function of AC reactor:

■ Reduce harmonics, surges and peak currents of the main power supply;

■ Improve the anti-interference performance of low-frequency conduction;

■ Protect the power electronic components of the drive mechanism;

■ Improve the power factor;

■ Prevent tripping caused by the main power supply voltage spike.

A DC reactor, also known as a DC smoothing generator, is used on the DC side of the converter, and the reactor is filled with tools.

DC current with alternating current component. Its function is to limit the AC component superimposed on DC current to a certain value.

Specify a value. It is also used for DC-side coupling of parallel converters, which reduces the intermittent limit and limits the loop in the circulating circuit.

Flow, in order to limit the current rise rate when using DC fast switch to cut off fault current, it is also used for DC smoothing of the intermediate circuit of current-voltage inverter, and can be used for rectifying and smoothing power supply to eliminate ripple.

There are also differences in parameters: the frequency of AC reactor is 50 or 60HZ, and the frequency of DC reactor means that the frequency of AC component is relatively high, which is related to rectifier circuit and has different inductance.
