1. Active suspension: refers to the application for suspension initiated by the licensee. If the licensee needs to suspend the retail business for any reason, it shall meet the requirements: the application must be made by the licensee himself or his agent; An application must be submitted to the tobacco monopoly administrative department that originally issued the license; The application must be made within the validity period of the retail license and meet the requirements of the application period stipulated by the administrative department; ? The maximum time limit for applying for suspension of business shall not exceed one year.
2. Passive suspension of business: refers to the decision made by the administrative organ to order the licensee to stop business due to specific objective facts or illegal acts during the period of engaging in licensing matters. ?
Legal basis: Article 211th of the Company Law of People's Republic of China (PRC). The company registration authority may revoke its business license if it fails to start business for more than six months without justifiable reasons, or if it stops business for more than six months.
